Browsing
This site has no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and it doesn’t set cookies. It is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver pages and block attacks. Cloudflare’s security features may set their own short-lived security cookies.
Contact form
When you send a message, the form sends your name, email address, inquiry type, subject and message, along with the time it was sent and the page you sent it from. They’re delivered by email to my inbox so I can reply. I use contact messages to respond to inquiries and related follow-up. I don’t add senders to a mailing list. The hosting, security, and email services that operate the contact form process the information needed to deliver and protect messages.
To stop spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile receives your IP address and information from your browser to check that a person is sending the message.
To limit how many messages can be sent, a salted one-way hash of your IP address (for IPv6, of its network prefix) is stored for up to two hours and then deleted automatically. The form doesn’t store your IP address itself.
I retain contact messages for responding to inquiries and managing related correspondence. You can request deletion through the contact form, subject to any legal or recordkeeping obligations.
Who handles the data
The site and form run on Cloudflare (Pages, Workers, KV storage, Turnstile and Email Routing). Messages are delivered to a mailbox hosted by Google Workspace.
